Over the past quarter of a century, John kicked around in nuclear medicine, radiation safety,
radiopharmacy and a teensy bit of radionuclidic therapy.

With too much time on the road he began writing stories and developing characters to help out
with his sons’ school assignments.  From those early days, he has authored a picture book
manuscript entitled "The Viol Sings", "How the Ground Hog Came to Admire His Shadow" and
other stories.  But, alas, he still seeks a publisher.

John's current manuscript projects are "Finn, the Fortunate" -- a YA novel about young lad on a
quest to rescue a princess (book submission set for '07), "The Last March from Camp
Aliceville" -- a story of friendship between a little boy and girl and a German Prisoner of War,
and "Dink’ki and Erina" -- a tale of a giraffe that befriends a little girl and their adventure
together.  See John's
Goals for 2006: a continuation of John's '05 Goal's story.

John received a 2006 Second Place honor in Light Verse by the Atlanta Writer's Club for his
children's poem, "The Parliament of Owls."

John lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, two sons and two dogs named after "Gone with the
Wind" characters. You can sometimes spot him at minor league ice hockey games reminiscing
the days when his boys ice-skated and when he strapped on an “original” pair of roller blades or
when he played on a frozen river with a shoe heel for a puck….
